The proposal is based on projected enrollment, facility condition, operational efficiency, and educational programming.
A grade-level configuration can allow the district to concentrate resources and expertise around the developmental needs of students within a narrower grade span.
It also provides an opportunity to better match building capacity to the number of students expected at each grade level.
Current enrollment ranges from approximately 100 to 135 students per grade level. For planning purposes, the district is using approximately 125 students per grade level, or approximately five sections per grade.
Under that planning assumption:
- A K–2 building would serve approximately 300–375 students.
- A 3–6 building would serve approximately 400–500 students.
These are planning projections, not guarantees of future enrollment.
